Trinity Grain is a farmer‑owned grain storage co‑operative operating three sites across the South of England. Each harvest, we handle over 200,000 tonnes of grain for 300+ growers, playing a crucial role in the British agricultural supply chain.

We’re now recruiting Harvest Grain Store Assistants and Harvest Grain Laboratory Assistants to join our friendly, experienced team at our Membury site (Berkshire) for Harvest 2026.

Roles available:

Harvest Grain Store Assistant

A practical, outdoor role at the heart of harvest operations. You’ll be involved in:

• Day‑to‑day operation of the grain plant
• Grain intake, drying, cleaning, storage and out‑loading
• Directing lorries to the correct tipping and loading points
• Preparing silos and bins for incoming grain
• Recording accurate crop information
• Keeping the site clean, safe and well organised

Full supervision and training provided.

Harvest Grain Laboratory Assistant

A varied role combining science, data, and customer interaction. You’ll be responsible for:

• Sampling and analysing grain using modern lab equipment
• Recording and communicating accurate results
• Managing electronic records, databases, and spreadsheets
• Operating the weighbridge for incoming and outgoing lorries
• Liaising with farmers, merchants and hauliers
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised laboratory environment

Full supervision and training provided.

Minimum rates as follows:

Under 21s

• 07H00 to 19H00 - £10.85
• 19H00 to 00H00 – £12.00
• 00H00 to 07H00 - £14.00

Over 21s

• 07H00 to 19H00 - £12.71
• 19H00 to 00H00 – £14.00
• 00H00 to 07H00 - £16.50

Shift Patterns:

• Full time shift of minimum 40 hours per week (07H00 to 19H00)
• Part time shift of minimum 20 hours per week (07H00 to 13H00 or 13H00 to 19H00)

Weekday and Weekend shift rota’s available:

• Weekday shifts only.
• Weekend shifts only.
• Combination of one weekend on one weekend off.

Availability: Start in June to end of September 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Graduate
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £12.71-£16.50 per hour
