Job Summary;
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any defects or issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

You will work within an automation-first culture and collaborate with your teammates to create valuable testing processes. You will participate in code reviews and give constructive feedback, contributing to the overall improvement of both the platform’s quality and the team’s skills.

You will use the latest established technologies and will be granted the freedom to explore emerging technologies. We will also invest in you as a person, with access to training courses and certifications.

Responsibilities;
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that testing aligns with project goals
- Document and track defects, providing detailed information to developers for resolution
- Perform regression testing to verify that defects have been resolved and that new functionality operates as expected
- Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance

Experience;
These roles require a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Preparation of manual and preferably automated test scripts, in line with the defined testing strategy.
  • Execution of test scripts and recording of test results.
  • Ability to quickly understand requirements based on documentation or user stories, and how success can be tested.
  • Ability to analyse test results and feed back results to developers to resolve any issues.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working within an agile framework.
  • A passion to continually innovate and improve.

Experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous:

  • Experience with cloud-based test case management tools.
  • Experience with bug/issue tracking platforms (Azure Boards, JIRA).
  • Experience working within a DevOps culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18,351.81-£46,740.74 per year
