PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

House Of Bruar is looking for a Product Development Assistant to join our growing team.

With the rapid growth of direct shopping for textiles, the control of our own brand garments needs to be consistent and highly detailed. If you have a passion for clothing and knowledge of woven fabrics this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

  • Good communication skills. Liaising daily with suppliers, by e mail, telephone & teams
  • Support project management by creating & constantly updating the CP daily, ensuring critical dates are achieved
  • Responsible for sample management, booking in all samples received & managing samples from development, photo samples to pp & production
  • Experience in excel and adobe is required
  • Attention to detail with an eye for design
  • Experience in measuring, pattern cutting & grading
  • Ability to fit and/or assist when fitting & refining fits
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency together with a collaborative & creative mindset
  • Ability to work & thrive in a fast-paced environment with good time management & proactive problem-solving skillset
  • Taking clear & concise notes for all key meetings, communicating to relevant teams
  • Maintaining, documenting & organising swatches & trims
  • Conduct market research for new product ideas
