We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Street Food Server to join our team at The Curry Shack, based at The Ring in Southwark.

The Curry Shack serves delicious, authentic Thai food from our dedicated street food hatch on the outside of the pub. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, loves interacting with customers and can deliver brilliant service with a smile.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming customers and taking orders at our outdoor food hatch.
  • Serving freshly prepared Thai food efficiently and with a smile.
  • Handling payments and operating the till.
  • Helping customers with menu choices, ingredients and allergen enquiries.
  • Working closely with our Thai kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and ready on time.
  • Keeping the serving hatch and surrounding work areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
  • Managing orders during busy lunch and evening services.
  • Delivering a great customer experience that keeps people coming back!

What we're looking for

  • A friendly, outgoing personality with great customer service skills.
  • Good spoken English to communicate confidently with customers.
  • Thai language skills would be a real advantage when working alongside our kitchen team.
  • Previous experience in street food, takeaway, hospitality or food service would be beneficial.
  • An interest in Thai food and culture.
  • Someone organised, reliable and comfortable working independently during busy periods.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

Working hours

This is a full-time position, with shifts scheduled around our trading hours, six days per week.

Lunch service: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Evening service: 4:30pm – 9:30pm

Flexibility to work across lunch, evening and weekend shifts is essential. Exact working hours will be discussed at interview.
