Food & Beverage Manager

Location: Marian Resort & Spa, Dyserth (live on available)

Reporting to: Head of F&B

OTE: £40,000

Role Overview

We are looking for a superstar Restaurant Manager to take our restaurant & bar operation to the next level.

Ideally able to straddle the juxtaposing lanes of upper-mid market service standards with the cool swagger of an operation that dares to be different – you’ll be at one with the idea of championing a fantastic guest experience in an intimate dining room one minute, and then showing the cocktail kings and queens of this world how it’s done the next; taking the challenge of managing the teams that keep these wildly different environments ticking in your stride.

The ideal candidate will ooze the charisma of a leader who is unafraid to stand with their troops on the front line; whilst having the calm and acumen to deliver excellent standards and ongoing sales growth via a highly motivated workforce who ultimately carry your vision over the line.

You will have a keen grasp of:

  • Recruitment, training and management of a large and varied team
  • Working closely with other department heads to achieve goals
  • Operational numerical data, ensuring you control food, drink & staff costs effectively
  • Food Production & Basic Kitchen management practices
  • Bar & Cellar operations, including stock control
  • Food & Beverage service operations across a spectrum of differing environments & styles
  • Wines, spirits & cocktails
  • Hot beverages & their iced equivalents
  • Niche opportunities and emerging trends in real time
  • Sourcing entertainment and organising/managing in-house events
  • Delivering & Exceeding P&L targets
  • Translating an ambition to be the best into a phenomenal reputation
