Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and pro-active Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our brand new Chinese Restaurant and Karaoke establishment. This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager or Supervisor looking to take their next step towards senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and extensive restaurant experience. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation
  • Lead and motivate FOH staff
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies
  • Monitor service quality and resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Train new staff members
  • Ensures that correct procedures are followed during opening and closing

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management and leadership capabilities
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to hospitality management

Compensation

  • £40000-45000 annual salary depending on experience for 50 hours/week
