Job Description:

Momo & Co operates two exciting models: a fast-casual dine-in restaurant and a quick-service takeaway. We specialize in authentic Himalayan cuisine, offering a vibrant menu of dumplings (momo), noodles, fried rice, and small plates. Our mission is to bring the bold, comforting flavors of the Himalayas to a modern, fast-paced setting-delivering high-quality food with speed, consistency, and heart.

We're currently looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our growing team. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in Nepalese, Tibetan, and other Himalayan cuisines, as well as strong wok skillsfor preparing rice, noodles, and a variety of small bites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Himalayan and Indo-Chinese dishes, including dumplings, noodles, rice, and small plates.
  • Operate wok stations confidently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain consistency.
  • Assist with food prep, mise en place, marination, and sauce preparation.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and FOH team to ensure smooth service.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times.
  • Support stock rotation, deliveries, and kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a chef or cook in Nepalese, Tibetan, South Asian, or Indo-Chinese cuisine is essential.
  • Strong wok skills for stir-fry, rice, and noodle dishes.
  • Able to work in a fast-casual or quick-service kitchen environment.
  • Good communication skills and team spirit.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential).
