Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced Thai restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be either on Lunch Time shifts 11:30am-3:30pm and/or evening shifts 5pm-Close. You will work 2-3 days per week, roughly 10-20 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system and notepad.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials, including up-selling where appropriate.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards during food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with familiarity in serving techniques and food safety practices (not required).
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
• A proactive approach to up-selling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
