Full job description

Job Overview

As a Thai Cook, you’ll prepare and cook Thai dishes, helping deliver well-prepared meals and a welcoming dining experience. You’ll organise ingredients and work carefully through each stage of preparation, cooking and serving.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and meals using suitable methods, keeping dishes consistent and ready to serve.
  • Cook Thai dishes with care, coordinating preparation and serving to support a smooth kitchen service.
  • Follow food safety practices, maintain a clean and organised work area, and handle ingredients responsibly.
  • Communicate with kitchen colleagues about preparation and serving needs. Your impact: well-coordinated meal preparation helps colleagues serve customers promptly and confidently.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation and cooking skills, including safe ingredient handling, meal preparation and attention to cleanliness, are essential for carrying out the kitchen duties. You should be able to organise tasks and coordinate with colleagues when preparing and serving dishes. Familiarity with Thai cooking is Mandatory. Preferred: Kitchen experience, culinary experience or restaurant experience can help you adapt to a busy food service environment.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
