Duties

  • Prepare a variety of wok-based dishes by following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Cook meals efficiently while maintaining high quality and consistency in flavor and appearance
  • Assist in ingredient prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning to streamline kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wok station throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service
  • Serve dishes promptly to ensure optimal freshness and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, especially with wok cooking or Asian cuisine preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen safety protocols
  • Previous restaurant or culinary experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation processes from start to finish
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
