Full job description

Estate Kitchen Driver

Wilderness Reserve is located eight miles inland from the seaside town of Southwold, equidistant between Norwich and Ipswich, and approximately two hours from London. The estate spans over 6,000 acres of woodland, lakes, and rolling pasture, and is home to a unique collection of cottages, farmhouses, barns, and manor houses.

At its heart, Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and English nature restoration project. Its historic properties have been thoughtfully restored by skilled local artisans, each retaining a distinct character - from a grand Grade II listed manor house and a restored 15th-century barn to charming thatched cottages and secluded retreats.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an Estate Kitchen Driver to join our team, based at our Estate Kitchen at Halesworth Golf Club.

This is a varied and hands-on role, combining food preparation and delivery across the estate. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food hampers for our guests and delivering them to properties throughout Wilderness Reserve, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience at every stage of their stay. Deliveries will include hampers, cakes, milk, and fresh juices.

Alongside deliveries, you will support the kitchen team with preparation and organisation for the following day, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Estate Kitchen.

Working Pattern
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, working 5 days out of 7. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes weekends and bank holidays.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a reliable and professional individual with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service.

You will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements include:

  • A friendly and professional manner
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, hands-on approach

Should you wish to take advantage of this opportunity please apply now!

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • On-site parking
