Company Overview

GBA Group of Companies is a leader in the logistics and automotive services industry, providing first-class services to prestige motor manufacturers and shipping lines. Our mission is to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers while maintaining excellence in vehicle handling and inspection.
Summary

We are seeking a Vehicle Inspector to join our dynamic team embedded based in Gaydon. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of high value prestige vehicles during the inspection process.

The role involves inspecting vehicles at the end-of-line section of the factory to ensure each car leaves in perfect condition, free from any damage or defects.

Once inspections are complete, you’ll work as part of a small team to fit protective transit covers to both the exterior and interior of vehicles, following established quality processes.

You’ll then record vehicle details in our internal systems before carefully driving them to the storage area, ready for collection by the carrier

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed vehicle inspections to identify and record any damage or imperfections.
  • Fit protective covers and interior packaging to vehicles following set procedures.
  • Record vehicle information accurately using internal systems.
  • Move and park vehicles safely in designated storage areas.
  • Support general housekeeping within the inspection and storage areas.
  • Assist with other duties as required during periods of variable workload.

About You

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (manual) – applicants must be aged 21 or over.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards.
  • Physically fit and able to:
  • Bend or kneel to floor level when fitting covers.
  • Hold and lift a 10kg bag to shoulder height.
  • Well-presented and professional in appearance.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Confident communicator with a good standard of spoken and written English.
  • Comfortable working in a busy factory environment with some background noise.

(Please note: Due to motor insurance requirements for driving high-performance vehicles, applicants must be aged 21 or over. This stipulation is objectively justified and in accordance with the Equality Act 2010).

What we offer

  • Competitive salary plus overtime & shift allowance.
  • Company uniform provided, including:
  • Steel toe cap boots
  • Work trousers
  • T-shirts, fleece and high-visibility jacket
  • Pension scheme.
  • Regular overtime opportunities (typically at weekends).
  • Health & Safety training provided in line with UK regulations.

GBA Group is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, or belief.
