Full job description

Join a small team on a big journey. Come and see for yourself how far the love of good bread has taken us, and get a trial in our new, purpose built artisan bakehouse. Join a team that take immense pride in doing it the right way, using no chemicals or shortcuts, just good ingredients and solid team work. Baking bread for food lovers and the finest food outlets across Lincolnshire.

In this role, you'll be:

  • Working in an authentic artisan bakery and getting involved in every stage of the bake- mixing, shaping, lamination, fresh prep, baking.
  • Using time honoured methods, real ingredients and skilled handwork to create products to be proud of.
  • The range includes classics like Sourdough, French Baguette and Focaccias, to innovations like The VINE'S Milk Bun and Kouign Amann.
  • Given the freedom to suggest and develop new flavours and ideas.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • The ability to work in a team and independently.
  • High standards. The understanding that we never compromise on consistency or quality, and take great pride in what we do.
  • Flexibility. A shift could see you shaping, mixing, baking, finishing, packing, prepping etc.
  • A 10th gear. Acceptance that the baking is a graft, and requires a concentrated team effort to consistently deliver quality.
