Brasserie Constance is located within Fulham Pier, one of London’s most exciting riverside destinations. With Adam Byatt as Culinary Director, the kitchen has a clear focus on high standards, consistency and delivering memorable food in a fast paced, professional environment.

Role Purpose

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section to a consistently high standard, supporting the wider kitchen team and ensuring every dish leaving the pass reflects the quality and reputation of Brasserie Constance.

You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to prepare, cook and present dishes in line with agreed specifications, while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and organisation.

Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation and Service

  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to the required standard and specification.
  • Take ownership of your section during preparation and service.
  • Ensure food is served consistently, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Support with menu preparation, mise en place and daily kitchen set up.
  • Monitor portion control, waste and stock rotation.
  • Assist with the smooth running of service across all kitchen sections when required.

Standards and Quality

  • Maintain the high culinary standards expected of Brasserie Constance and Fulham Pier.
  • Work in line with the direction of the Culinary Director, Head Chef and senior kitchen team.
  • Ensure dishes are plated and presented accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement within the kitchen.
  • Take pride in delivering food worthy of a Michelin Guide recognised venue.

Teamwork and Communication

  • Support Commis Chefs, Kitchen Porters and other team members where needed.
  • Communicate clearly with the senior kitchen team during preparation and service.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional and respectful kitchen culture.
  • Work collaboratively with front of house teams to support excellent guest experience.
  • Help train and guide junior chefs within your section.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant, hotel or brasserie environment.
  • Good knowledge of fresh food preparation and classic cooking techniques.
  • Ability to run a section confidently during busy service.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Understanding of food safety, allergens and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Calm under pressure with a professional approach.
  • Passion for food, quality ingredients and guest experience.
