Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Person to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety will be key to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing and change handling
  • Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and communicate inventory needs promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to serving food and beverages
  • Assist in setting up the bar for events or busy periods, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Bar Person or in a similar hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple guests efficiently
  • Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
  • Familiarity with basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced settings
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
