Production Operative
Hixon || Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:15pm || Temp to Perm Opportunity || Own transport essential

Our client is seeking 5 Production Operatives to join their growing team in Hixon.
We're not just looking for people with timber experience, we're looking for people with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. If you're reliable, hardworking and want to build a long-term career with a company that values commitment, we want to hear from you.
Whether you've worked in manufacturing, production, warehousing, construction, engineering, or a hands-on role, full training can be provided for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating production machinery and equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Building timber structures from technical drawings
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the day
- Must have own transport due to location
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous timber industry experience
- Production, manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
