We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven part time Male Support Workers / Personal Assistant in Alloa to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Client:

A characterful man who is recovering from an Acquired Brain Injury and is looking to get integrated back into the community with the potential transition to supported living. He is interested in music, films and football. His long term goals are to attend Premiership football matches and he is very passionate about his team. He initially wants to go out to the shops & for coffees/lunch but he is looking to build up his hours on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing structured boundaries and aid in socialising
• Client requires male support workers only
• Providing motivation and support in challenging circumstances
• Prompting with aspects of personal care and support daily living
• Driving the client's vehicle on outings

Required Experience:

• Excellent team working skills
• Care experience is desirable but not essential as training is provided
• A great sense of fun and humour within defined boundaries
• Knowledge of acquired brain injuries would be desirable
• Due to client needs, we can only consider applications from male applicants

• A Full UK Driving licence is an essential requirement and the ability to drive his vehicle.

Shift Pattern

• 11am – 4pm Mondays & Fridays initially
• As time goes on the client would like support outwith these hours to attend theatres, concerts and football matches
• 10 hours per week initially with increasing hours as time goes on
