Job Summary

Own transport is essential as there is no public transport available.

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Weekend Chef to join our team! This role is perfect for someone passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences during weekend hours. As a Weekend Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and served promptly to maintain freshness and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with meal planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management as needed
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures diligently during food preparation and service
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive, energetic work environment that promotes teamwork

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
  • Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy weekends
  • Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Passion for creating delicious dishes and providing outstanding guest service
