Full job description

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Therapy Team at Chase Park Neuro Centre, working 40hrs per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation who is passionate about developing their skills within a specialist and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have essential experience working with clients with stroke, brain injury, and/or other neurological conditions including spinal cord injury.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary Therapy Team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants, delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation and working closely with the wider MDT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete neurological physiotherapy assessments.
  • Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
  • Provide neurological physiotherapy interventions.
  • Complete respiratory assessments and treatments where required.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and communicate effectively with the wider MDT.
  • Support and guide Therapy Assistants where appropriate.
  • Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, reports and clinical records.
  • Promote a biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitation.
  • Build positive therapeutic relationships and demonstrate empathy towards the psychological and emotional impact of neurological conditions.

You will be supported by the Therapy Team Leads but will be expected to work autonomously, use sound clinical reasoning and actively manage your own caseload.

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
  • Minimum one year of post-registration physiotherapy experience.
  • Experience working with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury and/or spinal cord injury.
  • Strong interest in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive, flexible and compassionate approach.
