Overview
Our busy 18-bedroom hotel is in the heart of Gullane, East Lothian, in the heart of golf country. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic for our guests.

This position is perfect for those 18yo+ who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a positive environment.

This position is a flexible number of days from 9am-3pm. 18-20 will start on £11.50p/h, 21+ on £12.75

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure a pristine environment.
- Clean bathrooms, including sanitising sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low.

Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.

- This is physical work, so fitness and stamina are essential, whilst maintaining personal hygiene.
