The Anchor is a 'Top 100 Good Food Guide' pub based in Walberswick on the Suffolk coast.

We are seeking a bright, personable person to join our FRONT OF HOUSE and BAR TEAM now. Do you enjoy working in a small team to create a relaxed and friendly environment for our staff and customers?

You will be offered full training and personal development, have fun with our close-knit team, all whilst working in a beautiful location. We strive to achieve a high level of service and customer satisfaction as well as empowering you to develop your own skills.

About Us:

The Anchor is a family-run pub with 11 rooms in the beautiful seaside town of Walberswick. We take pride in the quality of local, freshly cooked food, as well as our extensive drinks offering. We have ove 100+ wines and more than 30+ bottled beers from interesting producers around the world.

We bake our own sourdough bread, butcher alot of our meats, smoke fish and grow some of the produce in the allotment adjacent to our pub. Alongside our regular restaurant menu, we also have daily specials, a woodfire pizza oven and barbecues that get fired up for special occasions and through the summer. We have a 50-cover restaurant as well as a bar and snug, both with wood fires, and are dog friendly. There are 3 garden terraces, an outside bar and a heated marquee with seating for 120 covers.

Our team are at the heart of our business. We offer a variety of shift patterns to suit the right candidate. Naturally our busiest periods are the weekends and summer. Our location is fantastic, (NB no public transport to the village), so the candidates must have their own transport.

Duties:

● Greeting customers

● Offering customers additional information on our products

● Taking food and drinks orders

● Serving food

● Preparing and serving hot, cold and alcoholic beverages

● Resetting and cleaning tables

● Preparing bills and processing payments

● We are happy to help you progress in your career and learn additional skills

Work remotely:
