Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Business Development Manager specialising in Private Care across Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base within the private care sector, building strong relationships with key influencers, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your sales expertise and industry knowledge to make a significant impact within a reputable organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Private Care growth strategy.
- Generate new private client enquiries.
- Convert enquiries into ongoing care packages.
- Achieve agreed growth targets for private care hours and revenue.
- Manage CAHG Private Care targets within the branches
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Attend networking events and community groups.
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the private care or healthcare sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage customer relationships efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders confidently.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team setting.
- Knowledge of the private healthcare landscape and relevant regulatory requirements is advantageous.
Experience Required
Essential
- Business development or sales experience in Private Domiciliary Care
- Track record of winning new business.
- Strong networking skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working for a North West Private Care provider
- Experience working with Local Councils
- Live-in care experience.
- Existing healthcare referral network.
- Experience working in a “matrix management” environment

Salary: £45,000 basic
Bonus OTE £85,000
Pay: From £45,000.00 per year
