Job Title: Female Security Officer

Hours/pay rate 42hours per week, £12.00ph

Role Overview:

Due to our continued growth we have a new exciting job opportunity for a female security officer this a great opportunity for a customer focused with a sharp eye for detail to join Andron FM in partnership with Jet2 .

You will report to the Account Manager or security supervisor whilst working closely with our onsite Client and maintaining a highly visible presence.

Visitors to the site are at the heart of what we do, as such you are required to maintain a high level of customer focus at all times and ensure all staff follow your lead.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Gate house duties, Warehouse Patrols, stop and search, CCTV monitoring

The site will operate a 365-day, 24/7 service.

· Work closely with the Site Cleaning teaming and on site Jet2 staff

· Be responsible for the supervision of all visitors, ensuring their safety when on site .

· To ensure as high a standard of security as possible maintained onsite.

· Provide excellent customer service, going above and beyond the level required.

· Protect our client’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

· At all times be aware of your body language whilst on duty.

· Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances

· Act lawfully at all times on our client’s premises

· Report in detail any suspicious incidents, taking accurate notes of all unusual occurrences

· Have a proactive approach, be alert and eliminate problems before they progress.

· · Ensure all necessary audits and inspections have been carried out and equipment is in serviceable condition.

· Advise the Account Manager or in their absence the Jet2 security Manager of any security issues, incidents, and exceptional matters as appropriate.

· Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

· Ensure all fire alarm activations are responded to appropriately in accordance with site procedures.

· Act in the role of First Aider.

· Complete any reasonable management instruction as directed by Andron or Client Management

Person Specification:

• Previous security experience
• SIA License required Door supervisor
• Honest and trustworthy

• The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
• Health & Safety focus and experience
• Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
• Ability to multi task and prioritise
