Job Overview

As a member of the bar team, you’ll welcome guests, prepare and serve drinks, and help keep service running smoothly. You’ll work closely with colleagues to create a friendly, well-organised experience, while maintaining clean, safe service areas and following food safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, take orders and serve drinks and food courteously, checking that orders are accurate.
  • Prepare drinks using appropriate bartending techniques and handle payments accurately using basic maths.
  • Keep the bar, equipment and service areas clean, stocked and organised, following food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Coordinate with colleagues during busy periods and manage tasks efficiently. Your impact: attentive, accurate service helps guests enjoy their visit and enables colleagues to keep service flowing.

Qualifications

Required: You’ll bring a hospitable approach, clear communication, basic maths, time management and care in following food safety practices while serving guests. Preferred: Bartending skills and restaurant experience will help you prepare drinks confidently, understand service routines and support an efficient, welcoming team.
