Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic GP Surgery Reception Supervisor to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the medical industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of governance and quality. The Reception Supervisor will oversee the reception team while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the GP surgery, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Responsible for setting up clinicians clinics on EMIS.
• Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and morale.
• Implement training programmes for staff on relevant courses in connection with primary care and customer service excellence.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across all areas of the surgery.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
• Previous experience in working in a reception area is required.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and best practices is necessary.
• Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills within a diverse workforce.
• Background in healthcare essential.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
