Full job description

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Chef to join our busy café kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, preparing quality produce to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide range of brunch style dishes for a frequently changing menu.

Be capable of running their own section within the kitchen,

Have strong presentation and plating skills,

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering,

Work closely with the front of house team to discuss menu changes, allergy information etc,

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

Key Requirments:

Previous experience as a chef in a similar style establishment,

Strong knowledge of a wide variety of ingredients and preparation methods,

Ability to work at pace and under pressure whilst maintaining good communication and teamwork ing skills,

A strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards,

Reliable, punctual and professional.

Shifts will be from 8am to 4pm approx, 5 days a week between Mon & Sat (we are closed on Sundays).
