About the Role
Join our friendly Helsby team as a Customer Sales Advisor and help customers make confident buying decisions while achieving sales success! You’ll be responsible for converting customer enquiries into sales across multiple channels (in-store, over the phone, and via live chat) by providing expert advice, building rapport, and using your negotiation skills.

Salary and Hours

  • Basic salary: £26,000 (full-time, 37.5 hours per week), pro rata for part-time hours
  • Uncapped commission: Realistic On-Target Earnings of £30,000+ based on performance

Hours:

  • Full and Part Time Available (Full-time: 37.5 hours per week/ Part-time hours available: 15 - 30 hours)
  • Rota-based role working 5 days out of 7 (based on full time), including regular weekend cover, on a rotating pattern (exact days will vary week to week)

What You’ll Do

  • Convert incoming sales enquiries across all channels – in-store, phone, email, and live chat – responding promptly, preparing quotes, and following up to maximise conversions
  • Handle customer finance agreements and recommend complementary products in line with company policy
  • Process accurate customer information and adhere to all sales team standards and procedures

  • Sales experience in-person or over the phone.
  • Strong ability to follow sales processes, handle objections, and negotiate.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and resilient.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
