Full job description

Bells Fish & Chips at Framwellgate Moor is seeking Waiting Staff to join our busy, high‑standard restaurant. We are looking for friendly, confident individuals who can deliver excellent service and support the smooth running of the front‑of‑house team. Full flexibility is required between 11:00am and 8:30pm, Monday–Sunday.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing their dining experience, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Previous hospitality experience is beneficial, but we also welcome applicants who are passionate about developing a career in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome and deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service
  • Carry out hospitality checks confidently and address any customer complaints effectively as the first point of contact
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety throughout the restaurant
  • Build strong knowledge of our menu and allergens, communicating clearly and supporting guests with dietary requirements
  • Prepare hot drinks and develop barista skills behind our bar

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
