Pastry Chef de Partie – Dunalastair Hotel Suites, Kinloch Rannoch

Dunalastair Hotel Suites, a boutique 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Kinloch Rannoch, is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a refined kitchen environment, creating high-quality desserts and baked goods that complement our elevated dining experience.

With a focus on seasonality, local Scottish produce, and elegant presentation, our pastry offering plays a key role in delivering memorable guest experiences.

The Role

As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Chef in delivering a high standard of pastry and dessert production across all services, including breakfast pastries, breads, afternoon treats, plated desserts, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods
  • Assist in developing seasonal dessert menus and creative concepts
  • Ensure consistency and presentation meet 5-star standards
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP practices at all times
  • Manage your section efficiently, including mise en place and service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and cost control
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Support private dining, weddings, and special events as required

About You

We are looking for a skilled and motivated pastry chef who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a high-quality environment.

You will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie
  • A genuine passion for pastry, baking, and dessert presentation
  • Good knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and trends
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic
