Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Cleaner at our clients site DHL Hayes to clean the facilities and warehouse area. Kestrel Way, UB31HJ.
The hours required are:
Monday-Thursday 1800-2100 and Friday 1600-2100 17 hours total
You will work as part of a team to carry out warehouse and facilities cleaning of the site. You will provide great service to our clients by ensuring that standards are maintained. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do.
You will report to the Site Supervisor / Service Delivery Manager
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse and facilities areas
- Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
- Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
- General warehouse & facilities cleaning with use of machines (full training will be provided)
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement
- Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- React to feedback appropriately to provide great service to customers
- Good attention to detail to deliver high standards
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate with customers and managers and comply with Health & Safety regulations.
- Will be subject to 5 year work history checks and DBS checks.
Experience
- Previous experience of warehouse cleaning is desired, but not essential
- The ability to learn, and the capability to develop skills further
