Job Summary
We are looking for someone to provide excellent customer service in a busy pub environment, serving beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Handled cash and card transactions accurately, maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and assisted with opening and closing procedures. worked effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple tasks during busy periods and helping to resolve customer queries professionally. Supported stock management, keg changes, and compliance with licensing and health and safety regulations.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers in accordance with company standards
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using the till system
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and patrons

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or working behind a bar is preferred
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
