Full job description

Dental Receptionist / Administrator

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our supportive team.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service while managing appointments, patient enquiries and day-to-day administration.

Previous dental reception experience is essential, and dental nursing experience would be an advantage.

This role also includes supporting practice compliance and carrying out regular CQC audits to help maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Managing appointments, recalls and patient communications

Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service

Handling payments and maintaining accurate records

Supporting the clinical team and smooth daily operations

Completing CQC audits and assisting with compliance activities

Providing occasional nursing support if suitably qualified

Skills & Experience

Previous dental reception experience essential

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality

Experience with SOE Exact preferred

Dental nursing experience and CQC knowledge desirable
