The Limes Surgery jobs

Lime Tree Surgery is a large, multi-site GP practice in Worthing. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive nursing team.

This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week, worked across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. As Lime Tree Surgery also provides Saturday services, a degree of flexibility to support occasional weekend working would be desirable.

While we are seeking a full-time candidate, we would also welcome applications from two part-time candidates who, together, can fulfil the required hours.

We are looking for a team player who is flexible, committed, and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Previous experience in primary care is preferred but is not essential, as training and support will be provided for the right candidate(s).

Skills and Experience

Applicants should be computer literate and ideally have experience in some or all of the following areas:

• Wound care, including Doppler assessments and compression therapy
• Childhood immunisations and routine vaccinations
• ECG recording
• Cervical screening (cytology)
• Chronic disease management
• SystmOne clinical system knowledge (training can be provided)

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a current and valid NMC registration
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to ongoing professional development
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: £17.50-£21.50 per hour
