Full job description

We are looking for a compassionate Head of Housekeeping who can communicate effectively with the housekeeping team, to assist in the provision of high-quality cleaning and sanitising and can ensure that our Residents have a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Unfortunately we are not offering any sponsorships for this role

The main duties of the role are:

  • Manage, motivate and develop individuals within the team to enable them to meet current and future Resident needs.
  • Provide day to day direction and support to the Housekeeping team.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area.
  • Making beds and changing linens.
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors.
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools.
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies.
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces.
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste.
  • Washing blinds.
  • Tidying up rooms.
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed.
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
