Domestic Assistant (Weekends) 14 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to support the cleanliness of a large care home, covering Saturday and Sunday. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or commercial cleaning environments, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, folding, and storing linens.
  • Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills
