Linthwaite House is part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio, and we are looking for a Guest Relations Assistant / Receptionist to join our vibrant team at our beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.

Guest Relations Assistant / Receptionist Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end or luxury hospitality setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A friendly, warm, and approachable manner with a proactive attitude
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
  • Handle guest requests, queries, and feedback promptly and effectively
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel offerings, local attractions, and services
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle reservations, phone calls, and emails with professionalism
  • Ensure the reception and lobby areas are always immaculate and welcoming
  • Support in administrative duties as required
