Full job description

We are now inviting applications for the position of Medical Herbalist.

One of our clients is a complementary health practice passionate about connecting patients with natural, evidence-informed care. We're a growing team and we're looking for a dedicated practitioner to grow alongside us!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting thorough initial consultations covering medical history, lifestyle, diet, and presenting complaints.
  • Formulating and dispensing individualised herbal preparations including tinctures, teas, capsules, and topicals.
  • Monitoring patient progress through follow-up appointments and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Identifying contraindications and potential herb-drug interactions to keep patient care safe and effective.
  • Maintaining detailed, accurate, and confidential patient records in line with GDPR and clinical governance standards
  • Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, joined-up care

What We're Looking For

  • A BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine or equivalent degree-level qualification
  • Solid knowledge of plant medicine, pharmacognosy, and Western clinical diagnosis.
  • Excellent consultation, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Reliable, patient-focused, and committed to ongoing learning.
