A highly reputable GP surgery in Leicester is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse with primary care experience who is comfortable running clinics autonomously and is looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

The surgery places strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, flexibility, and long-term development, offering a working environment where nurses are genuinely valued and supported.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, running nurse-led clinics independently while being fully supported by a multidisciplinary team. The role will include:

  • Cervical cytology
  • Baby and travel immunisations
  • Treatment room duties and additional clinical skills

About the Practice

  • Collective patient list size of approximately 20,000
  • Supportive and collaborative clinical team including:
    • GPs and GP Partners
    • Practice Nurses
    • HCAs
    • ANPs
    • Pharmacists
    • Wider clinical and non-clinical support staff

The team is known for being welcoming and hands-on, with full support provided to help new starters settle into the practice and its processes.

What's on Offer

  • Salary negotiable, depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave (pro rata)
  • Bank holidays off (pro rata)
  • Birthday off
  • Option to purchase an additional week of annual leave
  • NHS pension
  • NHS staff discounts
  • On-site parking
  • Ongoing support and continuous professional development

This role would suit an experienced Practice Nurse seeking a stable, long-term position within a well-organised and supportive GP surgery.
