Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and managing kitchen personnel. Duties

  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and safety regulations
  • Manage food preparation activities, including cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes to ensure visual appeal and taste excellence
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular checks and documentation
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative atmosphere
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
  • Extensive restaurant or hospitality experience with a focus on culinary excellence
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Competence in managing food service operations from preparation through serving stages
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of service
