Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join MNKY HSE team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your organisational skills and welcoming demeanour will help create a memorable experience for all visitors, contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests with a friendly and professional attitude, making them feel comfortable and valued
  • Managing reservations and waiting lists efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
  • Assisting guests with seating arrangements and providing menus upon arrival
  • Answering phone calls courteously, handling enquiries, and taking reservations with excellent phone etiquette
  • Coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth flow of guests and timely seating
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and waiting zones
  • Handling guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
  • Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure high standards of guest service are maintained

Experience

  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Experience with guest services, serving, or front-of-house roles is beneficial
  • Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations can be an advantage
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills
  • A friendly demeanour combined with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction
