Full job description

The award winning Covered Wagon in South Birmingham has expanded to Coventry! We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and driven restaurant team member to join our pub and restaurant.

A little about us:

Our staff are central to creating a cool hot spot with an interior that combines old-world tradition and contemporary style, with a distinct Indian grill menu.

The long term aim is to create a venue where the succulence of the food is legendary and indeed has become, award-winning. With restaurant trained chefs who share a sincere love of traditional and authentic Indian food ensuring a richly varied array of delights.

To create an atmosphere that will attract families as well as groups of friends, colleagues, couples, by providing exceptional service and a desired menu.

The Role:

As a member of the front of house team, your role will be key in providing amazing experiences for our guests. Confidence and personality are crucial in our pub!

As a Restaurant & Bar Team Member you will:

-Work in the bar / restaurant within the establishment where you will be offering a first-class service

-Be innovative, approachable and have the ability to quickly build a strong rapport with customers

-Be organised, hardworking and have an excellent appearance

-You must have outstanding customer service skills and a desire to always go above and beyond to wow customers.

-Must have previous experience in a similar role with the confidence to handle busy moments.

-You must be flexible as business demands late night & weekend work

In return we offer an excellent working environment, competitive rates of pay and a pension scheme.

Potential finish times could be up to 23.30 Monday - Sunday

Please only apply if this is acceptable and you have previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a bar / restaurant.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
