Full job description
Food Beverage Manager or Assistant FB Manager seeking progression? We’ll hedge a guess that you’re able to spin 100 plates at once, not literally – of course, but you’re someone who thrives under pressure.
As cliché as it sounds, you'll constantly want to change things up a bit, finding innovative ways to put a smile on your customers face. You’ll be juggling both customers in our bar, such as Abi, who enjoys the relaxed atmosphere, Gin Club, and football on screen as her home away from home, in addition to Sandeep who loves to try our new, exciting specials to help him forget the miserable motorway journey here. These are little details that make you outstanding and mean you create memorable experiences for your customers.
What you’ll be doing as a Food Beverage Manager
- Supporting with the provision of an outstanding food beverage service
- Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
- Coaching, mentoring and leading your FB team with a trusting approach - ensuring their commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Getting to know your customers and using your relationships to offer suggestions to enhance their experiences
- Working closely with your Operations Manager who will encourage you to love change and find your own unique ways to further enhance your guest experience
- Oh, and you’ll also be required to be a magician. Or at least be capable of juggling both our bar and Restaurant, not missing any details
- Managing stock and labour margins against your PL.
What’ll make you a great fit for this Food Beverage Manager role
- You’ll already be an established Food Beverage Manager or an Assistant Food Beverage Manager seeking their next challenge within a forward-thinking, change-loving company
- Whilst it would be great if you had experience working in a hotel, this isn’t essential
- Experience leading, coaching and training a team
- You’ll enjoy using tech – we have lots of it to make your life easier and our guests experience more seamless
- You’ll love people – and as a result, have great interpersonal and communication skills
- Details? You love them! You’ll be incredibly attentive with guests as a result
- Flexible and able to remain focused on results under pressure and to challenging deadlines
- Self-motivated and confident
