About the role

Job Title: Kitchen Porter

School Location: Orchard House School (Newton Grove), Chiswick, Hounslow, W4 1LB

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 10am-3pm (25 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £13,663.25 per Annum

What will I be doing?

  • Washing up pots, pans, cutlery and crockery using on industrial dishwasher or by hand depending on the items
  • When new stock arrives, checking the delivery is correct, and packing the delivery away
  • Keeping the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times
  • Working as part of the catering team at the site to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.

We’re open to people with great customer service skills, ideally from a catering or retail background, but if that’s not you, don’t let it put you off. We’re not in the business of making school food, we’re here to make good food, after all, that’s why our clients and customers love us!?
