We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, skilled, and driven chefs to join our talented team at the Foundry, a vibrant pub located in Widnes. If you're passionate about great food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you!

Part time hours will be considered.

The Role

As a chef at the Foundry, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. Here’s what you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with the manager to uphold the highest kitchen standards.
  • Prepare and serve mouth-watering dishes promptly, ensuring top-notch quality.
  • Maintain efficiency in cooking while ensuring every plate meets our high standards.
  • Work with a small, dedicated kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive environment.
  • Manage stock, inventory, and ingredients to keep things running smoothly.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen with strict adherence to food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Minimize food waste and manage resources effectively.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards with precision.
  • Meet company targets and KPIs, driving both quality and efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of our bustling team.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Strong communication skills, able to keep the team aligned and motivated.
  • Proven ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
