Assistant Manager – The Real Greek, Sheffield
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 48 hours per week
About The Real Greek
At The Real Greek, we bring the authentic flavours and vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean to the UK. We pride ourselves on fresh food, warm hospitality, and a passionate team culture. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Sheffield team and support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. You will lead by example, ensure high operational standards, and help drive team performance and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor performance, drive sales, and maximise profitability
- Support recruitment, training, and development of team members
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a positive attitude
- Passion for food, drink, and delivering excellent guest experiences
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good understanding of financials, KPIs, and team performance
