Full job description

We're seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead all aspects of a small festival-style bar at Sounds of the City.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee bar set-up, stock management and service delivery
  • Manage staff sign-in, cash declarations and timesheet administration.
  • Brief and supervise staff, providing training and support where needed
  • Maintain licensing standards, minimise wastage and monitor stock levels
  • Manage end-of-night close-down and pack-down procedures
  • Act as the premises licence holder on shift (valid Personal Licence required)

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience essential
  • Previous festival bar experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced live event environments
  • Reliable, proactive and confident managing teams
