Restaurant Supervisor

Harry’s is the critically acclaimed restaurant at The Gallivant, a Michelin Key hotel on the South Coast, recognised for its modern British hospitality and consistently high standards.

Led by Executive Chef Matthew Harris, Harry’s is a serious, food-led kitchen focused on consistency, quality, and disciplined execution.

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and responsibility

Job type: Full-time, (20 - 45 hours per week, flexible)

The role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to support the team in a busy, professional kitchen.

This is a hands-on role. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and flow across the kitchen, ensuring chefs can operate effectively during prep and service.

You will be expected to:

  • Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment to a high standard
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and safe at all times
  • Support chefs with basic prep when required
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
  • Assist with deliveries and stock organisation

The hotel operates continuously across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no closing between services. The role includes evenings, weekends, public holidays, Christmas, and New Year.

This is a structured, professional environment. It suits people who work hard, take pride in standards, and are reliable under pressure.
