Job Description and Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, answer questions about ingredients, and assist customers with food and drink recommendations.
• Take accurate customer orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring orders are correct and presented to a high standard.
• Assist with food preparation when needed, including preparing ingredients, assembling dishes and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and served efficiently while maintaining food hygiene standards.
• Check customer satisfaction, respond to requests and handle complaints professionally.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately.
• Prepare tables before service, clear used dishes and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the restaurant and food preparation areas.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with general restaurant duties as required to maintain excellent service and customer satisfaction.
