Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen by assisting with meal and food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where delicious meals are prepared efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
  • Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients, chopping, measuring, and portioning foods
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
  • Help with serving meals to guests or customers in a timely and courteous manner
  • Support the team during catering events or large-scale meal services as needed
  • Ensure all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices is highly desirable
  • Experience in meal preparation and food service roles will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene standards is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for learning culinary skills and working as part of a dynamic team is essential
