Full job description

Pyecombe Golf Club is a private members Golf Club situated 5 miles north of Brighton and primarily serves members. It has a relaxed and welcoming feel.

The club is looking to recruit for the role of Bar / waiting staff on a part time contract, which will involve working on a Saturday or Sunday each week in addition to some flexible working during the week. The contract hours can be set, within reason to suit the needs of the individual and the Golf Club. We offer flexible working patterns and are able to discuss any options at an interview. The position will involve working part time hours including one weekend day, which could be either day on a weekly basis. Rotas are produced three weeks in advance. Additional hours may also be available though out the week if desired.

The main objective of this role is to maintain a friendly, welcoming and efficient bar service within the golf club opening hours. This role is a permanent position and the weekly shift times will vary during the year. The role requires all year round working so would not be suitable for anyone requiring 'seasonal work' only. Assisting with the smooth running of functions and events will also form part of the job.

Experience in working behind a bar would be an advantage but not essential. Owning a car is essential as the golf club does not lie on any obvious public transport route.
