Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
  • Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and keeping track of usage levels.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Uphold food safety standards to guarantee the health and safety of all patrons.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
  • A solid understanding of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area.
