Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! In this pivotal role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, foster a positive kitchen environment, and uphold our commitment to culinary excellence. Duties

  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale.
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation excellence.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and smooth service flow.
  • Lead by example in food handling techniques, cleanliness, and hospitality practices to promote a positive guest experience.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment or restaurant setting.
  • Extensive background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
  • Demonstrated kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within hospitality environments.
  • Previous restaurant experience with exposure to high-volume service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for serving guests and supporting team success.

Pay: £15.15 per hour
